Lead and manage all litigation related to loan recovery, willful defaulters, NPAs, and asset retaking in line with court procedures.
Initiate and execute legal actions including court proceedings, settlements, and writ execution to maximize recoveries.
Work closely with the Recoveries Department to determine appropriate legal enforcement strategies and expedite settlements.
Provide legal advisory support on civil, criminal, regulatory, property, and employment-related matters across the business.
Develop and implement legal strategies, manage external counsel, and lead the legal team to ensure operational excellence.
Notary Public license (English & Sinhala) will be an added advantage.
